Sandvik coromill face mills & end are the first cutter to give a true 90 cut without sharp edges or steps; this allows cusp heights of 0.03mm, showing no discernible cusp on a smooth surface. This is possible because of the plus/minus 10-20' angular accuracy, compared with plus/minus30' with less advanced technology. Coromill 490 is available for diameters of 25 - 80mm, with arbor, cylindrical and weldon shanks; with l and m pitch and in metric and inch. The complete coromill 490 range will cover 25 - 125mm. Coromill 490 is available in p-geometries and later in m and k. Roughness applications l, m and h are available. The radius is 0.4 - 1.6mm.
