In addition, several design modifications have been implemented which will further improve tool performance.Constructiona threaded hole connection has been added at the rear side of the tool's shank to allow for connection of a cooling hose directly to the tool by a hose fitting. The modified connection improves tool performance, chip evacuation and tool life.Body materialin order to extend the tool lives of the dr-mf small sized tools in 8 and 10 mm diameters, iscar now produces the drills from high grade steel, which can withstand higher torsion loads.
